Connect your data
Elastly prices from your own data, so the first step is to connect the system you already run on.
Pick one:The first sync pulls everything, then future syncs only fetch what changed. See
Connectors for how syncing works, and for the sources coming next.

Why it needs more than a price list. Elastly learns from real outcomes, so it needs your
customers and your sales, not just a list of products and prices. That’s why it connects to the
system where your selling actually happens.
Let Elastly learn your pricing
Once your data is in, Elastly builds a price for each product from the ground up. It starts with
a base margin for the product’s category, then adjusts for the things that change the right
price: the customer’s segment, their region, payment terms, whether cost is trending up, and how
demand is moving. Every adjustment is a plain, visible step, not a black box.Over time it also learns from what actually sold. When a quote is won or lost, Elastly nudges the
margin for that customer and product by a tiny, careful amount, so pricing gets sharper the more
you sell. See Pricing strategies for how the price is built.
Set your guardrails
Guardrails are the limits every recommended price has to stay inside: a margin floor it can never
dip below, an optional ceiling, a cap on how far a price can move at once, and how prices round.
New workspaces start with sensible defaults, and you tune them in the Control Center. A strategy
can tighten a guardrail for its products, but it can never loosen one.
Guardrails always win. A recommended price is clamped to your guardrails before you ever
see it, and the recommendation tells you which guardrail had the final say. See
Guardrails & rules.
Review and apply
Elastly queues the products whose price should move, and only those. Each one comes with its
reason and the drivers behind it, so you can see why before you decide. Approve or reject in the
review queue, or let prices apply on their own when they’re safely inside your guardrails. Every
change is recorded, so you can track realized margin over time. See
Explainability for what travels with each recommendation.
